Interesting, if somewhat creepy, storyline.  I enjoyed the overall story.

The only thing lacking was character development.  The story is very plot driven, which is fine, but it does mean that the "love triangle" fell flat and you just don't really care a ton about any of the characters.  You just don't get to know them well enough.  The love triangle thing is also just weird.  It doesn't make sense-- feels contrived.  Same with the other random "romance" in the book.

They don't detract from the story, but they don't need to be there.  Leave the focus on the plot. :)

The plot itself is an interesting combination of military thriller and genetics-based sci-fi.  Plus some random mythology, archaeology and mysticism.

Like I said, a little creepy, but a good story.  Very interesting.  Some risque garbage and coarse language, though.  Overall a good read.
