I love these books.
They may not be the best mysteries... or the best writing... but I simply do not care.
Because they are HILARIOUS.
As in "laugh out loud scare the poor nursing baby" hilarious.
Poor LuLu.
Anyway. Cat Deluca is back and while this one starts out a little more serious, I promise it's just as funny as the first two.
I do recommend reading them in order... like now. :)
Habitué [Fr. a-BEE-twey]-- noun 1. Devotee 2. a frequent visitor to a place 3. denizen

Sticks and Stones by KJ Larsen
Sequel to Liar Liar, a Cat Deluca mystery

HILARIOUS.
I think I need to own these books. They are just so darn funny! It's the best of all worlds in the world of cozy mysteries.
This one has Cat trying to clear the name of her crazy assistant, who's now known everywhere as the crazy lady who killed her husband, thanks to a viral video of her making all sorts of threats.
The only thing is, she didn't actually kill him.
Between the police not appreciating Cat's help and her crazy Italian/Catholic family, Cat's got her work cut out for her.
So looking forward to book 3.
(I highly recommend you read these IN ORDER for everything to make sense.)
