An interesting conspiracy-theory-ish novel set in the 1920s in New Haven, with Yale as a main backdrop.

Loved the characters.  Days after finishing I find myself wanting more from them.

Not a ton of resolution in the end, though I presume that's in part because it's the beginning of a series. (I think anyway.)

The writing definitely needed tightening... and oh the editing... sigh.

Overall, though, an interesting historical/mystery/conspiracy theory/paranormal novel that amazingly covers all of those without suffering any serious identity crisis, lol.

I enjoyed it. :)

Very "Da Vinci Code" except... not.  lol

Conspiracy theories like you wouldn't believe.

The Revolutionary War, King Phillip's War, the COLD WAR..... all there.

Weird symbols, check.

People pulling strings behind the scenes, check.

People pulling the strings BEHIND the behind the scenes??  Um... maybe?  lol

You are kind of left hanging with some loose ends, but I think that was totally intentional.

Recommended.
