It has been commented on that it's not as easy as readers would like to find books I highly recommend.
So, what would you like to see? A "recommended" tag/label? Some sort of widget in the sidebar? Posts tagged/labeled by how many stars I gave the book?
Give me some ideas and I'll see what I can do! :D
When I went to your blog to look for recommended books, first I looked for something on side that said "Books You Simply MUST Read" or something like that, either in the tags or as a wiget.
ReplyDeleteCan I recommend (as if you can stop me) an Amazon.com widget? It's really easy to set up, nice and visual, user friendly, PLUS, let's say I see that you highly recommend a particular book. If I click on it through your widget, then order and pay for anything (even if it's not the thing you recommended), Amazon totally gives you a kick back, however tiny.
I have earned four whole dollars from my Amazon widgets and I only put them on in February!
Then you can also do a tiny review in the comments as you add the book to the widget (I have this on my blog, you can see what I'm talking about).
I do think this will help people (or just me) find new good stuff to read. Thanks so much for the time you spend reviewing and blogging.
