Anyone have good book or movie suggestions for a teen birthday?
Must be clean! I refuse to give my little sister something risque! :D
She's not a big reader, but really liked the Twilight books and likes to read celeb. autobiography stuff.
I think she'd like Ruby Among Us but I need all the help I can get!!
I've heard good things about the Sookie Stackhouse books.
ReplyDeleteI don't know! I would say anything by Shannon Hale, unless she's already read them. Princess Academy was good.
ReplyDeleteFor a movie? I was going to suggest Beverly Hills Chihuahua. It was a cute one. Confessions of a Shopaholic was also pretty good. I think both were rated PG.
Okay, this one has a religious theme, but Fireproof is awesome. Loved it. There's In Love and War. Just Like Heaven is a cute movie. The Lake House is PG and a GREAT movie and so is While You Were Sleeping. A Walk in the Clouds, A Walk to Remember... I could go on and on.
ReplyDeleteAngie-- Seems like there's a lot of both good and bad being said about Sookie Stackhouse. Totally not my style, but I may have to read one to sort it out in my head!
ReplyDeleteAmy-- Shannon Hale completely slipped my mind! LOVE her books.
I wonder if she's seen Beverly Hills Chihuahua.... Hmmmmm...
Jasmine-- Thanks for the suggestions! I think she already has a couple of those movies... I think I'm going to have to raid her movies and find out which ones!
Britt-
ReplyDeleteNot sure when her b-day is, but I just finished City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. Totally not your style, but I think she'd love it.
I ended up going with Fairest by Gail Carson Levine!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the help!!
