Let me start by saying I was not expecting to like this one. It's not really my style. It's one of those Reader's Choice books that I just put my head down and plow through for the sake of getting it read.
But I was pleasantly surprised. I ended up liking it quite a bit.
Granted, Leelee is kind of obnoxious in a "will you just stand up for yourself already" kind of way. And I'd KILL my husband if he acted like that. But still, it was kind of a fun story.
Definitely chick lit or a domestic drama (which really is kind of a lame genre tag) but a good one. ;)
And really, even though Leelee is in the 30-35 range, it's kind of a coming of age story too.
