Beehive nominee
LOVED this book.
This was a Great Reads for Girls pick, but Boo's not ready for it thematically. In a few years I definitely want her to read it, though.
Melody's cerebral palsy has left her unable to communicate, an enforced silence made all the more tragic by her brilliance.
Written entirely from her point of view, Out of My Mind is a fabulous, sometimes heartbreaking story of struggle and perseverance.
HIGHLY recommended.
