Welcome to the beginning of a whole bunch of picture book reviews! :)
So a few weeks ago we actually went to storytime at the library. The toddler storytime. Not ideal for Mister, but he had fun anyway.
I honestly wasn't overly impressed. A few songs and two stories and that was it... *shrug* Kind of meh.
BUT, both of the monkeys enjoyed the books, so we checked them out.
Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site by Sherri Duskey Rinker
One by one it's time for the trucks to go to bed. My kids loved telling the trucks goodnight. A cute book, especially for bedtime. Great choice for toddlers/preschoolers, especially boys. (Or girls like MeiMei that love trucks.)
Revenge of the Dinotrux by Chris Gall
(Hmmmm, just realized this is a sequel. Maybe we should get the first one too.)
Very silly. The dinotrux are on the loose and making a mess. Several very clever dinos/activities. The kids love this one.... I'm tired of reading it aloud, lol.
Another really great choice for boys or tomboys in the preschool range.
