E-mergency by Tom Lichtenheld

I want to love this book.

And I kind of do.  It's a great concept, very amusing.  With "E" hurt the alphabet reminds everyone that the letter "O" will have to take his place in all words.

Which is AWFUL to read aloud.  Awful.

And it's really not a good concept for younger kids.... prereaders just don't really understand it.

SO, I would totally recommend it for early elementary kids that can sit and read it themselves.  Like 1st -3rd grade or so.

Boo enjoys it more than my younger ones.  Lots more, probably.

Mister is just starting to read a little, so he sort of gets it... but not really.  And there's just too much going on on each page for MeiMei.
