Mia Books, by Robin Farley

(Copies received for review)

Mia: The Easter Egg Chase

Sigh, I don't love the Mia books.  This one was okay-- Mia helps her little cousin find Easter eggs even though it might mean she doesn't win the chocolate bunny.

Mia: The Sweetest Valentine

This one just plain bugged me.  She takes the box of chocolates without asking and eats it... then finds out it was her mom's valentine present.  And everybody's just like, "oh it's okay, you didn't know."
Maybe it makes me a bad parent, but my kids would be in big trouble.  For more than one thing, there. Taking something without asking, eating a bunch of candy without permission, ruining someone's present.  Um, no.  It's not okay.
Grr.

Mia and the Girl with a Twirl

The new girl in dance class is different, but Mia and her friends learn that different is okay.  This one was fine.  I don't really have an opinion on it, lol.

Mia Dances Back to School

I liked this more than the others.  Mia heads back to school only to find that her friends are in a different class.  Now Mia is nervous instead of excited.  Pretty cute and good for those little ones anxious about the first day of school.
