Amelia Bedelia's First Library Card by Herman Parish

Let me start by saying I LOVE AMELIA BEDELIA.  That said, I love the ORIGINAL books.

The Amelia Bedelia concept that makes the original books so awesome just doesn't translate 
well to "young Amelia Bedelia" picture books.

Cute enough story, but would have been better if you weren't expecting it to be more like the original books.

The [very] few confusions reminiscent of the original books are honestly out of place and add nothing to the book.

And the whole "let's completely ruin the library book and it's no big deal" thing was a bug too.
