Okay, so I've reviewed this before, but I read it again last month and it just doesn't get old!
LOVE this book.
Mibs and her friends and especially her quirky savvy-ridden family are just so much fun.
If you haven't read it, you totally should.
And if you know a 9-14 year old who hasn't read it, get it for them. Then get them Scumble.

Scumble by Ingrid Law

Companion/Sequel to Savvy
A lot like Savvy, this is a really cute coming-of-age story-- even if it isn't about the character I was hoping it would be about. :)
We do see a bit of Mibs and company, but mostly this is about Ledge-- Mibs' cousin. Who, naturally, has just turned 13 and isn't sure he's thrilled with his savvy.
Nevermind that it wasn't what he hoped for and even expected... Ledge just wants things to stop falling apart.
And he wants the nosey girl from town to stop asking difficult questions.
Most of all, he's got to learn to scumble.... and he's got to learn fast.
Cute and fun and while it could stand alone, I recommend reading Savvy first. If for no other reason than because it happens first. :)
If you enjoyed Savvy, you've really got to read this one!
