MY FIRST GIVEAWAY!!

Here it is. I told you it was coming.

This week makes 6 months since I started this little blog!

So I'm celebrating.

With a giveaway of course!!

Well, more than one, really, but you'll have to be patient... :D

Buy Quieter Than Sleep on Indiebound

"A modern mystery of Emily Dickinson."

This was a fun mystery I read a while back. Karen Pelletier is obsessed with Emily Dickinson, as is her colleague Randy Astin-Berger. Or was. But once Randy is found strangled with his own necktie (and who of us hasn't wanted to do THAT to a colleague) Karen has to figure it out before the police decide it was likely her. And to do THAT she has to find the truth behind Randy's latest research...

So, here's how it works-- you get 1 entry for commenting.
You get 2 more for subscribing/following (new or current).
You get 2 more for mentioning this on your own blog.
You get 2 MORE for checking out Arri and Keish's NEW site and leaving a comment either there or here about it.
AND you get THREE MORE for leaving me another choice for May Possibilities-- but you have to do it today.

So, that's a possible... what? TEN entries!? AND if you don't win, you'll automatically get one entry in the giveaway coming later this week.

I'll be picking a winner FRIDAY, so you have some time... but the May Possibility MUST BE POSTED TODAY.

Have fun!

  1. I love giveaways (and I hope you are better about shipping stuff than me, because my fingers are crossed for winning stuff - the universe has been on my side lately)!

So one for this comment, two for following AND subscribing, and I get to count three for my Good Omens suggestion (it really is a fabu book), right? Just in case, I also highly recommend Man's Search for Meaning, by Victor Frankel if you haven't read it yet.

  2. Count me in - an Emily Dickinson mystery? Intriguing.

    I am already a subscriber.

While I am loathe to suggest books completely out of the blue (will she have already read it? what if she hates those kinds of books?) I simply adored The Wednesday Wars by Gary Schmidt. It was a riot!

  13. Sounds interesting. Brings me back to highschool English when I called my teacher a pervert because of his comments on Emily Dickinson that didn't coincide with the Emily I'd pictured in my mind...

I'm following you now - love a good book review.

A book our book club enjoyed was "The Shadow of the Wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon - it was a mystery that kept us all guessing.

  18. Wow! There's been a great response so far!

Pam, I've already posted the poll for May Possibilities, but I'll give you one extra for the suggestion and put it on June's list!!

(If anyone that missed suggesting a May Possibility would like an extra entry for a June Possibility, you've still got a couple of days. But only if you didn't give one for May.)

I just discovered your blog today. What is a "possibility"? What are they being considered for?

    Thanks!

  20. "Possibilities" are reader-suggested books. Every month I gather suggestions and put up a poll. The winning book is what I read and review!
