Hilarious.  Seriously freaking hilarious.

So, I requested this ARC totally because it's Jon Scieszka.  He's awesome.  And this book is so much fun.

I'd call this part middle grade reader, part graphic novel.  Though the art in the ARC is not final, so I can't wait to see a finished copy.

Michael K is starting at a new school.... and just wants to fit in.  So it's a problem when he gets stuck with the other two new kids, who are completely crazy. 

Or are they?

What if they really are from outer space and Earth really will be turned off if Michael doesn't help them?

One of the great things about this book-- the websites it mentions are real!  You can, in fact, visit sphdz.com and become sphdz.  You get a sphdz name, can print a certificate and stickers and lots of fun stuff.  You can visit antialienagency.com and learn all about AAA.  You can even apply for a job with the agency. ;)  Or check out mrshalleyscomets.com and see what the class is up to.
