When baby loves books, Mommy loves bath books! Because let's face it, for at least the first year of life, they just want to chew on things. And bath books can take being chewed on, drooled on, and puked on.
This is a super cute one that we have-- it has all sorts of fun little things. There's a spinning spider, a bird that plays peek-a-boo, a squeaker and the sliding ladybug.
In our house, bath books are a life-saver.
(Two good sources for bath books-- Target $ Spot and Dollar Tree!!)
The only problem with them-- drooly pages get stuck together.
Ew.
What's your favorite?
We have a terry cloth bath book called Mark the Shark that is also a puppet that my son likes to still play with in the tub.
ReplyDeleteOooh a terry cloth one. That's cool. Not only spit-proof but absorbant!
ReplyDeleteIt may seem weird, given how much I love kids books, but I always had this thing against bath books. We only have one that I can think of, and it is in regular rotation (though obviously below his reading level now). iBaby "Little Turtles," which holds a few squirty turtles in the binding.
ReplyDeleteHow funny! Little Turtles sounds cute.
