Red Hood's Revenge by Jim C Hines
4 Stars
R- 3
Another fun adventure in the world of "if the Grimm fairy tales met Charlie's Angels".
The "angels" in this case being Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. :)
Favorite line:
"You're telling me Little Red Riding Hood wants to kill me?"
And, of course, the answer is yes, since the Lady of the Red Hood is an assassin.
(Okay, technically Cinderella says that and she's not really the target, but still.)
LOTS of Sleeping Beauty in this one. We get to learn a lot more about Talia's backstory.
All in all, a good fun read.
Read the others first, though, because the characters are really well-established by this point.

Glad you liked it. This is such a fun series although there is only one more left :(
ReplyDeleteAh, darn-- so the Snow Queen whatever-it-is coming out next summer the last? :(
ReplyDeleteIt would be hard to keep going forever, I suppose.
