After reading the 2nd Natasha Blake novel (Bloodline) which didn't quite click for me, I debated going back and reading the first one.

Since it was what I was in the mood for last week and I had it out of the library, I figured I might as well.

And this one really worked for me.  Making me wonder if the other one not clicking was more of a mood thing.

I did have to keep reminding myself, though, that this one came first... especially when it came to Natasha's relationships with Marcus and her family.

Hoping for a book three.....

Overall, recommended.
