Copy (bound printout/manuscript) received for review.
Promising story, but needed serious serious editing.
The Dr. Miner storyline-- unnecessary complication. Same with most of the Jerry Duncan storyline.
Also, the writing wasn't stellar and needing tightening/editing.
**Because my review copy was a bound manuscript I have NO IDEA if further editing was done before publication or in the course of publication. I can only review what I read. :)
The story is definitely interesting, though.
If you like a good thriller and don't mind random distractions or racey scenes, this might be a good pick.
