Book Club Book for July
While there are certainly things that disagree with the author on, this is a wonderful tribute to a mother who wasn't always wonderful. It's a journey to understanding that mother.
And it's short, sweet and to-the-point, which at the moment is a major criteria for me. ;)
Overall, definitely recommended, especially if you loved the movie Mona Lisa Smile (similar themes) or have read and enjoyed any of the author's other memoirs.
(And really, what have you got to lose? It'll take an hour to read.)
