This was an interesting and fun memoir that had me wanting to visit the Scottish Hebrides.
Definitely long on stories of the quiet life and shorter on medical drama, but I enjoyed it.
A series of anecdotes strung together with a loose narrative, it is by turns funny and tragic.
Overall, recommended, just don't expect it to be a lot of medical stuff.
