I need to own this one.
To say I loved it is possibly an understatement.
It was dark. It was haunting. It was lyrical. It was beautiful.
And in stripping the fantasy out of the fairy tale, Blackwell actually created a story that was all the more powerful.
There is power in the ordinary.
Really the only other thing I can say about this book is GO READ IT.
