I think I would have liked Shadow of the Wind if I'd read it on paper instead of listening to it. I did like it, and appreciated aspects of it, but it felt like it dragged on.
On the other hand, I couldn't get Passages out of my mind after I read it. I started about 5 different books before going back and rereading Passages, since I was just so amazed by it.
Judging by the comments I've seen about each, not everyone feels the same way as I do about either of these books. Oh well.
Oddly enough, I've read both.
