Habitué [Fr. a-BEE-twey]-- noun
1. Devotee 2. a frequent visitor to a place 3. denizen
Oddly enough, I've read both. I think I would have liked Shadow of the Wind if I'd read it on paper instead of listening to it. I did like it, and appreciated aspects of it, but it felt like it dragged on.On the other hand, I couldn't get Passages out of my mind after I read it. I started about 5 different books before going back and rereading Passages, since I was just so amazed by it.Judging by the comments I've seen about each, not everyone feels the same way as I do about either of these books. Oh well.
I know absolutely NOTHING about Shadow of the Wind. And all I know about Passages is that I love Connie Willis. :DLooks like they're tied at the moment.
