My Heart is Like a Zoo by Michelle Hall

We FINALLY got this in from the library and it is ADORABLE!!

So so so cute.

The text is super simple, which makes it great for even the youngest kids, but honestly, we haven't even read it all out loud together yet because my kids just love looking at the pictures!

Filled with animals made of various hearts, they are soooooo cute and creative!

I'm itching to try and make some of our own.... but I kind of OD'ed on cutting out hearts helping Boo make valentines last week.  So maybe in another week or two.

If you've got kids, I highly recommend this one.  If you don't have kids, I still highly recommend you at least look through it.  :D

(Potty training is traumatizing.... Mister spent an hour in the bathroom screaming yesterday.  Heaven help us all if today isn't better.)

  1. Hey there,

I saw that you're a dedicated follower of literature, so I wanted to drop you a line and let you know that I'm currently setting off an a journey read all of the Pulitzer winning novels in one year and documenting my adventures. I would love it if you checked it out and gave me some feedback as I journey along!

  2. We still haven't read this, but I guess I should put it on hold! I thought right away that it would be great for crafts too. I don't do all that many of those sort of guided crafts (it might seem like I do, because I post about them whenever I do), but that seemed fun.
