The 13th Hour by Richard Doetsch

5 Stars
R- 2.5

Fascinating!  This book starts at chapter 12 and works backwards through the story.  Very interesting way of telling the story!!

What are the consequences of our actions?  As Nick jumps backwards through time, trying desperately to save his wife, he struggles to find the key to the puzzle.  Everything he does changes the timeline.  How can he change it in the best way?  Or is Julia fated to die today no matter what he does?

I really enjoyed this.  It's a great thriller.  If you haven't read it, you really really should.

And I'm curious to see if there will be a sequel.  There certainly doesn't have to be, but the ending left it open for one.

Interestingly, while reading this, I received a galley for another of Doetsch's books!  I'm looking forward to reading it.

It looks like it's third in a series, so I'm off to the library website to put the first on hold!

The 13th Hour counts for the Support Your Local Library and Reader's Choice challenges.
