I am usually SO NOT A FAN of retellings and abridged nonsense for kids. I'd rather have them read the real thing.
BUT
Nesbit's prose retellings are kind of awesome.
I haven't read them all, but I like what I'm seeing, you know?
And it's gorgeous.
(I mentioned that, right?)
Anyway.
Take a look. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
